A delicious, parve salad dressing that will become a favorite - it is one of ours.
1 1/2 cups
1 Tbsp fresh minced garlic
2 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 Tbsp sugar
3 Tbsp fresh parsley,* chopped
3 Tbsp fresh chives,* chopped
9 Tbsp tablespoons mayonnaise (approx. Â½ cup plus 1 tablespoon)
1 Tbsp brown sugar
8 oz extra virgin olive oil
0 Optional Additions: Garlic flavored croutons, cookrd salmon
Place first seven ingredients in food processor and pulse to combine.
Add olive oil and turn on processor briefly to mix. If too thick, add one teaspoon of water and mix again.
Serve over simple lettuce salad. If using, add croutons and/or salmon
*If fresh herbs are unavailable, use dry herbs.
