In this recipe I use chicken breast which is very low in saturated fat and I add vegetable of choice to make it more healthy such as carrots, or sweet potatoes. It also gives it softness, so the children can enjoy it too. i highly recomend it as kids menu. My kids don't like sweet potato, yet when it is added in here they don't even know they are eating it. Great way to get veggies into the kids is by hidding them in your recipies.

INGREDIENTS













  • 2 lb chicken breast










  • 1 onion










  • 1 carrot










  • 1 sweet potato










  • 1-3 garlic (to taste-i like a lot)










  • 1 salt/pepper to taste










  1. you will need to purchase apporoximately two pounds of ground chicken breast.



  2. peel and food process to fine texture (make it ground consistancy) all the vegetables



  3. mix the ground chicken with ground/processed veggetables. add spices to taste. i only use salt and pepper. you may add others.



  4. use non stick cookies sheet sprayed with some oil or line your pans with wax paper to prevent sticking.



  5. form them into balls using your palms and as you place them on the baking sheets press down to form half inch thick burgers. you can form them in any size diameter vise as yo wish. sometimes i make them small, sometimes big.

  7. cover with aluminum foil before baking. this will create steam inside the baking pan and result in soft and moist burgers rather then dry.



  8. bake in preheated oven at 350F for 45min - 1 hour. on top . check after 45 min if corners starting to get dark, they are ready if not you may live in for another few minutes just to make sure they will be well done. ENJOY
