Need A Fish with a difference for shabbos? Try this.
1 large onion
1 cup sugar
Â˝ cup lemon Juice (better from fresh lemons)
4-5 bay leaves
- sprinkle salt & black pepper
4 salmon fillets or slices
Brown onions in sugar untill golden.
Add a bit of water, Almost to cover.
Add lemon juice, bay leaves, salt & pepper.
Cook for 1 hour.
Make 2-3 days in advance in order for fish to marinate well.
