This dough can be used to for a cookie gun. Its fun and easy. For a more sophisticated cookie sandwich the cookie with jam. Originally from the Silver Spoon Cookbook- Kosher cooking for the discerning palate.

INGREDIENTS













  • - DOUGH:










  • 4 (4 oz) margarine










  • 1 cup sugar










  • 1 egg










  • 4 cup flour










  • ½ tsp baking powder










  • ¾ cup ground walnuts










  • 2 Tbsp vanilla sugar










  • 1 capful almond extract










  • - GARNISH:










  • - Raspberry jam- as needed










  • - Baking chocolate- melted










  1. Cream margarine and sugar, add egg. Combine flour and baking powder and add to mixture. Add rest of ingredients.



  2. Preheat oven to 350F.



  3. Place dough into a cookie gun, fitted with a flower disk. Press dough 2 inches apart on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.



  4. Cool. Spread raspberry jam on cooled cookies.



  5. When chocolate is dry, turning cookies and dry, turn cookies and drizzle other side with melted chocolate. Place a dot of raspberry jam in center of cookie.
