INGREDIENTS
5 cup flour
3 sticks margarine
3 tsp salt
4 egg yolk
½ cup sugar
¼ cup lemon juice
1 cup water
8 potatoes (cooked)
1 onion (sauted)
1 salt to taste
1 black pepper to taste
1 egg
Mash potatoes, add saut'ed onions, salt, black pepper and raw egg. Mix well. let cool.
Knead the first 7 ingredients to form a dough, May be a bit sticky, use flour to help you work with it.
Roll out dough place potato mixture (when cool) in center. If potatoes are too hot, it may cause the dough to melt.
Roll up jelly style. Brush with egg. Add sesame seeds.
Bake on 350 until done
You can place ready raw rolls in freezer. When needed, defrost and bake. it will be as good as fresh.
