This is the succulent falling off the bone type of meat!
I am a Hungarian cook so these are my suggestions, feel free to adjust to your own taste. This meat is served to my family and guests on Yom Tov and is my most requested recipe.
2 large sweet onions chopped
2 Tbsp oil
5 cloves garlic chopped
5-6 Minute Steaks
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
2 Tbsp paprika
1 cup water
½-1 cup Ketchup
Saute onion in oil until browned on a medium flame.
Add garlic and mix carefully to avoid burning. About 2 minutes.
If desired, you can brown meat in flour and oil in a separate pot. (Not necessary)
Add meat to onions and garlic.
Add spices. Use the above as a guide, adjust according to preference.
Simmer on a low flame for one hour, turning over meat once.Add water when necessary and add more or less if needed.
Add Ketchup and continue to cook until sauce gets thick and creamy. Approximately a half an hour.
