This is my no fail go to recipe for glazing cupcakes.
The dreamy chocolaty combination makes this sublime!
Note: I like to use disposable pans for a double boiler. I use a smaller pan for the bottom and fill it with water. Keep the flame low, so that no water enters the top pan, otherwise it will effect the chocolate. No mess, no cleanup.
1 cake or 20 cupcakes
8 oz baking chocolate
4 oz margarine
1 tsp coffee
1 tsp vanilla sugar
2 Tbsp corn syrup
Bring all ingredients to a boil in a double boiler, stirring occasionally
You can use this to glaze a cooled cake or cupcakes.
Add toppings of choice such as nuts, sprinkles or chocolate chips.
