Topic : Freezing raw kugel

I have a delicious recipe from my sister that calls for grated cortland apples, which I usually make the same day I serve it. One of my neighbors mentioned that she always freezes her kugels raw. She suggested I try to shred the apples (instead of grate), drain excess liquid, & then freeze raw with the crumb dough. Did anyone try freezing raw apple kugel ? Do you bake it straight from freezer or defrost abit ?

Did you like it? I didn't see that you left a review, and I was wondering if it was good. http://www.cookkosher.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6771&Itemid=2

Might be too late to reply. My neighbor keeps cookie dough in the refrigerator a whole week. She makes it on Friday. Bakes some cookies and then refrigerates it for the next friday to bake the rest. Personally I would freeze it in balls for the next time I need it.

Well I've arrived too late for any homework I'm sure, but just for kicks, my British seminary dorm mate cracked us up calling earring backs "butterflies" and runs in stockings "ladders." It was funny because it made such sense!

I suspect no...

I made a cookie dough about a week ago but it was a bit of a last-minute thing while other stuff was going on around the house/life so I didn't have time to bake it all. I baked two trays and shoved the rest of the dough into the fridge for "later." The dough included an egg. Later hasn't happened yet.

Taking it as a given that the cookies will be baked thoroughly in any case, how long is it still OK to keep cookie dough in the fridge?

The temperature in the fridge was too high & the pineapple got frozen. Any ideas what I could make out of it? Something quick n easy!

Thank you!

I have a good butter loaf recipe. Just wondering, if this can be baked in a bundt pan? I like the shape of the bundt, but all the butter loaf recipes call for loaf pans.

There are lots of recipes that say whipped cheese but all of them seem to be salty (in the uk anyway). Any ideas of what I can use instead?!
Thank you

Are you referring to replace the cream cheese? I use gvina shamenet for cream cheese. And Tnuva for the soft cheese.

My favorite tip from a friend is always try to photograph dishes in natural light! It may mean getting up a bit earlier or moving around the house to the perfect window/ lighted area, but the results are well worth it! Also a few props from the dollar store in the form of colorfulk napkins, cutlery, plates or glasses adds an extra special touch!
