Overtime, is there an alternative to Rich Whip if you don't use raw eggs? Just curious. I'm neither for nor against it. I'm sure it's chemical garbage but whatever. I don't know, the creaminess has to come from somewhere and if it won't be milk or eggs and I think soy is kitniyos... what's left?

The No-egg ice cream #4905 seems pretty similar just with quantities. And cookies, which I guess you could omit for Pesach, though I bet they add a lot.
Cookies and cream makes sense to me and also sounds pretty tasteless. It's basically whipped cream with cookies. Bleargh. But sense, yes - if you whip something and freeze it you can pass it off as a parve ice cream. The kind that I DON"T want to eat. I guess the cookies are there to mask the taste, or lack of taste, whichever. (and 18 hours has GOT to be a typo. Or the contributor needs a new freezer) |
