A recent discussion on cookkosher, got me thinking

What are your favorite kosher brands of kitchen food products:

Ketchup - heinz all the way.
Tomato sauce - Ungers (much better than Hunts)
Flour - King Arthur or Heckers

What are your favorites?

That's because you live in the US. Mikki's is actually amazing, if you can find it.

I'm also a Heinz ketchup fan. Other than that I'm not really picky in most things. I do like certain tomato sauces better than others but most are OK. Flour? I wouldn't even know how to tell the difference. They all seem the same to me.

I prefer Lieber's chocolate chips to others I've tried. They seem to taste better and more chocolatey, and I've never gotten a stale pack.

I haven't really thought about it, and I don't think I have a strongly developed brand loyalty. If there's a coupon for something, I'll use that brand. I suppose I usually get Heinz for ketchup, I like Grey Poupon for dijon mustard. I also tend towards the healthier options, so I'll get the Organic Canned Beans because the sodium level is like, a bazillion times less than the store brand. I like Rice Dream for all my non-dairy liquid needs.

Definitely Heinz for ketchup and the best mayo is Hellmans. I love the low fat-blue label. You can't taste the difference and it is much lower in calories. For dijon mustard, French's and Filippo Berio extra light olive oil is a great oil. Made in Italy and it's great for frying, baking and salads. Has an OU and is sold in Costco.

This is tough because I will really try anything and if it's on sale, I don't care what brand it is :) My favorite honey mustard is Gulden's. Oh, and I LOVE Trader Joe's chocolate chips.

There are only a few things I really won't compromise on. Schaffen Berger chocolate. (I know. It's a splurge. I don't use very much of it.) Kraft Olive Oil Mayo. That's it; everything else is just a preference that I can switch up.

Mayo: Dukes (Theirs doesn't taste like ANYBODY elses!)
Peanut Butter: Trader Joes (tastes nuttier, richer, toastier, and healthier, (if that's possible) unlike Smucker's.)
Cheese: Cabot Extra Sharp Cheddar (I love this cheese more than anything!)
Chocolate Bars: Endangered Species (My mother, sister, and I CAN NOT get enough of this stuff! I like that it doesn't melt in your mouth right away, it doesn't have any soy products in it, and it SOO chocolatey.)
Butter: Land 'O' Lakes (tastes so buttery, rich, and not plain like other brands I've tried.)

Trader Joe's chcolate chips ARE the BEST!
I also love Mikee (not sure how it's spelled) duck sauce.
NJMOM - I remember mikki babaganoush from my (long ago) days in Israel...still haven't found anything similar in the US.

i agree Lay's potato chips are definitely the BEST, cappuchino ;)
I also would only eat Heinz ketchup although my sister likes the Israeli Osem type better. I can't understand her to me Heinz is the only edible ketchup!
