When I started getting into food photography, I discussed the topic as much as I could with the photographers I work with. I am lucky to have gotten some really good advice. One of my favorites was this:
Don't think you can only take good food pictures if you have a super expensive camera, a fancy lens, lights, tripods, etc. My coworker showed me that I could get amazing food shots on my iPhone, and that's what I used for the first six months I was food blogging.
