I would love to try this Recipe #1037 today. Could someone (recipe author, admin?) please clarify: 1. In the first step, should there be water included to proof the yeast? Are the 3 cups of water used here? 2. In the ingredient list it says '1 sugar' (it's not vanilla sugar this time) is that 1 tablespoon? 1 cup? If it's a cup, is the whole cup used for the yeast?
