Thinking of dressing mt kiddies as Curious George and hubby as the man in the yellow hat. I plan to give out banana liquor, dairy banana pecan muffins, banana flavored laffy taffy and some other yellow stuff. Any other suggestions?

Monkeys like peanuts! So perhaps you could give something along those lines. I'm thinking of dressing my kids in Smiley faces. What could I put in my Mishloach Manos? Was thinking of making smiley face cookies. Any one got a recipe?

Just make a regular cookie and cut out using a round cutter and decorate! Or you can make cupcakes if you prefer.

Anybody out there know how to make colored popcorn and Egg liquor? I'm thinking of putting it into my Mishloach Manos.

I was in Yorkshire this year and went to want one of the market towns on market day. I purchased cloths to make me look like all the people around us. I got tweed caps and jackets and am dressing up like an authentic yorkshire sheepman couple look. For Mishloach Monos I got Yorkshire tea and I will make Yorkshire pudding (never made it before). I know that most people won't know what my costume is or anything about Yorkshire but it is a really interesting place with such a distinct culture that I could not resist.

I need an idea for my two girls to be this year or we will have to (gasp) repeat last year's adorable bumble bee costume. So any ideas towards the bumble bee end are welcome. I just wanted to share with you what a crazy new mother (me) did one year for Purim. I dressed my daughter as a chicken (a really cute costume, mind you) and i fried chicken cutlets and french fries for each of my Mishloach Manoses. Obviously I didnt have that many people to give to but each was wrapped up in a take out bag with a bottle of coke and dipping sauce for the chicken. Lets just say it was a real hit! Good luck with all your ideas!

Yum this sounds great but did you do it fresh? When? How? If you repeat (G-D forbid) the bumble bee costume you could go down the line of honey cakes or cookies etc. You could do flowers or rabbits!! 2 girls dressed up will be adorable in whatever costume you find!!!

so my daughter is at the age where all she wants to be is a kallah (and by that i mean she is 4, not 19) so my thought is to dress my baby in a flower costume (what kallah doesn't have flowers?) and do a flower theme...im just trying to figure out the best way to do that that isn't a patchka...

My cousin did a flower theme mm a few years ago. If I remember it was cupcakes in green tissue paper. She decorated the cupcakes as flowers. For other people she did different shapes of flower cookies iced with royal icing.

I actually fried all the chicken the week before and froze it. Purim morning I had huge pans in my oven warming and as people came over they were served "fresh" and hot. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you I had bocharim sitting and eating on my couch all day!

for people looking for ideas- last year we dressed up like a traffic light, it was very cute and original. My husband and 2 kids. one red, one yellow, one green. they did nachman yarmulkah and a shirt in the color they where with denim pants. and i gave out 3 cup cakes(red, yellow, green) in a long clear container with the lid attacked. and i used that shredded tissue paper stuff underneath the same color as the cup cake. it was fun and cute and A LOT OF CUPCAKES
