INGREDIENTS













  • 2-½-3 lb brisket










  • 6 onions, slices










  • - baby carrots or regular carrots, peeled and chopped










  • ½ packet of onion soup mix, or a few teaspoons










  • 1-1½ cup sweet kiddush wine










  • - oil, to sear meat in










  1. Sear brisket in oil until brown on all sides.



  2. In a foil packet (or a pan lined with foil to make your own), add the brisket, onions, carrots, onion soup mix and wine.



  3. Seal the packet well.



  4. Cook at 400F for 2-3 hours.



  5. Tastes better the next day.
